ATTENTION TAPERS:
Do you record shows yourself when you attend them?
I myself have not done so, but if you do, you may find the following
web site useful....
http://www.sonicstudios.com/pa_x.htm
It seems to have lots of technical information (way above my head!)
about
microphones, and to be a source for buying high quality equipment.
(Click here for a more detailed index of subjects)

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys collecting music bootlegs or has any interest in learning more about them! This is an extremely detailed and comprehensive "inside view" of the methods, actions, and thought processes of the people behind most of the bootlegs made for the first several years of this phenomenon's history. I couldn't put it down.

CHEAP TRICK
1974 / 1975 / 1976 / 1977 / 1978 / 1979 / 1980 / 1981 / 1982 / 1983 / 1984 / 1985 / 1986 / 1987 / 1988 / 1989 / 1990 / 1991 / 1992 / 1994 / 1995 / 1996 / 1997 / 1998 / 1999 / 2000 / 2001 / 2002 / Miscellaneous / Other items of interest to Cheap Trick fans
"Stardust Club" (Also circulated under the assanine title "Who Needs Robin?") 1 disc (12 tracks, Audience recording, 43 min.) Stardust Club, Rockford, IL 1974 - Earliest known Cheap Trick recording, from shortly after they changed their name from Sick Man of Europe to Cheap Trick! Xeno is on lead vocals. This is absolutely a must-have for any die-hard Cheap Trick fan! - I expected the sound quality to be horrible on this one, but it's actually pretty good. - Track list - Cover art available upon request
"The Total Xeno" 1 disc (Soundboard, Approx 80 min.) Madison, WI And Rockford, IL 1974 w/ original singer Xeno - Includes some interesting tracks like "Dancing In The Streets" and "Get Back". And the first song is an early track that contained elements of what would later become "You're Taking Me Back" and "I'll Be With You Tonight" - Sound quality varies but is mostly just 'Fair' - No track list or cover art
"Mother's Day 1975" 1 disc (10 Tracks, Approx 45 min.) Cheap Trick playing a free Mother's Day concert at Anna Page Park in Rockford, IL 1975 - This is the earliest known live recording with Robin Zander on vocals!! - Lots of early versions of songs, including "I Want You to Want Me" of which Rick says "This next one is about a guy that's trying to make it with this beautiful girl, even though he's a real dope" - There are various minor glitches, a few skips, and some pops that might be digital (Then again all these might have been just because I was listening to it on a cheap cd player while jogging). All that aside, the sound quality is really very very good. I can't even tell for sure if it's an audience or a soundboard - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Humpin Hanna's" 1 disc (13 tracks, Audience recording, 57 min.) Milwaukee, WI 1975 (Anyone know the exact date?) - Sound quality is FAIR at best. Instruments and vocals are all clear, but the sound level is somewhat low, tinny, and with some static. - Track list - No cover art
"Haymaker's" 1 disc (9 tracks, Audience recording) Haymaker's, Wheeling, IL 8-27-76 - The sound quality during the first track is so horrendous that I think it's perhaps the worst sound quality of any boot I've ever heard. The recorder sounds like it's too near the amps and all you hear is bass overriding and distorting. Fortunately after that first track the sound greatly improves, but it never rates higher than 'fair' on my scale - Track list - No cover art
"Bloomington '76" 2 discs (25 tracks, Audience recording, 110 min.) The Met, Bloomington, MN 1976 (Anyone know the exact date?) - Sound quality is between poor and fair - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"The Starwood '77" 1 disc (Audience recording) The Starwood, Hollywood, CA 3-17-77 - Sound quality is FAIR at best. Very muffled - Tracklist - Sorry, no artwork at this time
"The Perfect Female Body" 1 disc (7 tracks, Audience recording, Sourced from an LP) The Starlight Theatre, Los Angeles, CA 4-1-77 (Cheap Trick was opening for The Runaways) - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Whiskey-A-Go-Go '77; First Night" 1 disc (13 tracks, Soundboard, 60 min.) Whiskey-A-Go-Go, Los Angeles, CA 6-3-77 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Whiskey-A-Go-Go '77; Second Night" 1 disc (13 tracks, Soundboard, 50 min.) Whiskey-A-Go-Go, Los Angeles, CA 6-4-77 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Trick or Treat" (aka "Samurai Rock Band") 1 disc (18 tracks, Soundboard, recorded from FM, 78 min.) Rockford Armory, Rockford, IL 10-8-77 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Rockford Armory '77; 1-Disc Version" 1 disc (17 tracks, Audience recording) Tracks 1-13: Rockford Armory, Rockford, IL 10-31-77. This is an incomplete version of the show, missing 6 songs, and all the talking between songs is removed - Also includes 4 tracks performed live acoustically on some FM radio show (It sounds like the announcer calls it the "Incana Cafe" perhaps) Sound quality of the Rockford Armory concert is rather poor. It's very muffled throughout most of it, although it's clear and audible. The acoustic radio show tracks sound excellent. - No track list or cover art
"Rockford Armory '77; 2-Disc Version"(Also called "Pick 'Em And Flick 'Em"...In reference to Rick's guitar picks ..not boogers!) 2 discs (28 tracks, Soundboard, from FM) Tracks 1-19: Rockford Armory, Rockford, IL 10-31-77 (This is apparently the complete show). Tracks 20-28 are from a 2003 Rockline show broadcast 7-23-03, but include only music, no talking - Sound quality is great, especially compared to the 1-disc version. But there's still a lot of 'overdrive' type of distortion. It definitely sounds to me like a soundboard recording - No track list or cover art
"Toronto '77" 1 disc (13 tracks, Soundboard from FM, 62 min.) El Mocambo, Toronto, Ontario, Canada 11-10-77 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"The Palladium & The BottomLine" 1 disc (Both audience recordings) The Palladium, New York, NY 11-12-77, and The BottomLine, 6-12-78 - Track list - Sorry, no art at this time - Sound quality of all tracks is FAIR at best
"Steel Town Losers 1977" 1 disc (14 tracks, Soundboard) Pittsburgh, PA 11-14-77 - Has song fades between tracks - Sound quality is GREAT, but there are scattered digital clicking noises - Cover art available upon request
"Elo Kiddies" (Also called "Hello There" or "Stone Pony") 1 disc (17 tracks, Audience recording, 80 min.) Asbury Park 11-16-77 - Sound quality not yet rated - Cover art available upon request
"Stone Pony" 2 discs (Audience recording, 82 min.) Asbury Park, NJ 11-16-77 - Sound quality is 'very good' to 'great', but it has 1-second gaps between tracks. - No track list or cover art
"Osaka '78" 2 discs (18 tracks, Audience recording, 78 min.) Koseinenkin Hall, Osaka, Japan 4-27-78 (This is the day before they recorded their famous "Live at Budokan" album which was 4-28-78, although I've been told that parts of the Budokan album are from this show!) - Incorrectly listed as 4-2-78 on some lists (They were in England on 4-2-78) - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"In Paradise" 1 disc (13 tracks, Soundboard, 67min.) Paradise Theater, Boston, MA 6-10-78 - Sound quality is great - Cover art available upon request
"Bottomline '78" 1 disc (5 tracks, Soundboard, Approx 25 min.) The Bottomline, New York, NY 6-12-78 (This boot is also available on one disc combined with NY 11-12-77) Sound quality not yet rated - No track list or cover art
"Paris '78" 1 disc (9 tracks, Audience recording, 44 min.) Paris, France 8-23-78 - Recorded while Cheap Trick was backing up Kansas on a European tour - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Live at The Capitol Theatre" 1 disc (16 tracks, Soundboard, 78 min.) Capitol Theatre, Passaic, NJ 12-5-78 - Incorrectly listed as12-8-78 on some lists - Sound quality not yet rated - Cover art available upon request
"Capitol Connection" 1 disc (15 tracks, Soundboard) Tracks 1-12: Capitol Theatre, Passaic, NJ 12-10-78, Tracks 13-15: Stanley Theater, Pittsburgh, PA 1977 - Sound quality not yet rated - Cover art available upon request
"Boston '78" 1 disc (16 tracks, Audience recording, 78 min.) Boston, MA 12-16-78 - This is not the same performance as "In Paradise" - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Take it Cheap" 2 discs (26 tracks, Audience & Soundboard) Two shows from the Dream Police Tour: Tracks 1-7: Brighton Polytech University 2-10-79 (Audience recording), Tracks 8-26: LA Forum, Los Angeles, CA 12-31-79 (Soundboard, recorded from K.L.O.S. FM) - Sound quality is of both shows is great - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Paging Mr. Wood" 1 disc (14 songs, Audience recording, 64 min.) Newcastle, England 2-23-79 - Sound quality is merely 'Fair'. It might have gone through several generations on cassette or something. It's very clear, but the sound spectrum is mostly on the screechy high end. Plus there's a ton of tape hiss. - Cover art available upon request (The artwork might be for another version of the show that's floating around somewhere out there, because it calls it a soundboard recording.)
"Stockholm '79" 2 discs (17 tracks, Soundboard, 90 min.) Stockholm, Sweden 2-28-79 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Paris '79" 1 disc (14 tracks, from FM) Paris Stadion, Paris, France 3-8-79 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Amsterdam '79" 1 disc (5 tracks, Soundboard) Amsterdam, Holland, Netherlands 3-9-79 - Sound quality not yet rated - No track list or cover art
"JOQR Seishun-O-Dori" and "NHK 600 Kochira Johoubu" 1 disc (From Japanese TV and FM radio) This is two things that were put onto a single CD because they are both rather short. First is "JOQR Seishun-O-Dori" radio show - Japan 3-16-79 Sort of a listening party amidst chaos. Rick plays live piano solo. Album tracks played. Then "NHK 600 Kochira Johoubu" Japan 3-19-79 Japanese TV show. Mix of interviews plus 3 live songs from 3-19-79 Budokan show. - Sound quality is very good - No cover art
"Chicago '79" (Also circulated under the name "Hello Windy City") 2 discs (18 tracks, Soundboard from FM) Live at the Chicago International Amphitheatre 6-16-79 - This is probably the best live Cheap Trick boot I have ever heard! The sound is SUPERB, the band's playing strays more from their original studio tracks than they normally do, and there's even a 4-minute Rick Neilson guitar solo .. something I've never heard, on CD or in concert, and I've seen them about 20 times! - Track list - Sorry, no cover art
"Top of the World; Chicago '79" 1 disc (15 tracks, Soundboard from FM) Live at the Chicago International Amphitheatre 6-16-79 - Same as the above, except someone trimmed 3 songs off so that they could fit it onto a single disc (The tracks which were cut are: "Big Eyes", "Look Out" and "Auf Wiedersen") - Same extraordinary sound quality! - Track list - Cover art available upon request
"Rock Palast '79" 1 disc (10 tracks, 60 min., Soundboard) Rock Palast, Essen, Germany 8-30-79 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Nuremburg '79" 1 disc (13 tracks, Audience recording, 62 min.) Nuremburg, Germany 9-1-79 - Outdoor stadium show, opening for The Who in front of an audience of 65,000 people - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Way of the World" 2 discs (Soundboard, from FM, 134 min.) L.A. Forum, Los Angeles, CA 12-31-79 - Sound quality not yet rated - No track list or cover art
"Jack Douglas Demos" (Also called "The Lost Album") 1 disc (Studio, Approx 39 min.) Studio demos recorded in 1980 (Supposedly 1-5-80), with producer Jack Douglas. These were the last recordings done with Tom Petersson before his return in '88. - Sound quality Very Good on some tracks, Great on others - Track list - No cover art at this time
"Found All the Dreams" 2 discs (Soundboard) This was listed as "Found All the Parts Sessions", but that sounds misleading. This is not a studio session, it's a live show (Perhaps the same live show the tracks on the "Found All The Parts" album came from) Los Angeles, CA 1-5-80 - Sound quality is GREAT - Cover art available upon request
"Providence '80" 2 discs (21 tracks, Soundboard, from FM) Providence, RI 3-24-80 (Incorrectly listed as 2-24-80 on some lists) Originally broadcast as part of the "Super Groups In Concert" series - Sound quality is GREAT. I heard one skip. There may be more. - Track list available upon request - Cover art available upon request
"Pittsburgh '80" 1 disc (Audience recording) Pittsburgh, PA 6-5-80 - Sound quality not yet rated - Cover art available upon request
"All Shook Up in London" (Also called "London Lovers") 1 disc (15 tracks, Soundboard, Approx 59 min.) Hammersmith Odeon, London, England 11-5-80 - Sound quality is very good, but some distortion at times. Nice balance of highs and lows, nice clear vocals. But it does have split-second TAO track transitions, which are sometimes abrupt and imperfect. - Cover art available upon request
"Go For The Throat" 2 discs (18 tracks, Audience recording) Reunion Arena, Dallas, TX 1-22-81 - From the "All Shook Up Tour" - Sound quality is very good, but sometimes seems a little muffled. Most of it seems to have good tones though, and the vocals are nice and clear throughout. But it does have split-second TAO track transitions, which are sometimes abrupt and imperfect (More so on Disc One. On Disc Two the transitions are almost all perfectly smooth) - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Chicagofest '81" 1 disc (13 tracks, Soundboard, Approx 64 min.) Chicagofest, Navy Pier, Chicago, IL 8-5-81 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Alpine Valley '81" 1 disc (Soundboard, from FM, Approx 70 min.) Alpine Valley, WI 10-2-81 - From the Westwood One "In Concert" radio show. Includes many gems from that era, like "Day Tripper", "I Want You", "Your Love Has Got A Hold On Me", "Saturday At Midnight", "Time Is Running" and "She's Tight" - Sound quality is EXCELLENT! - No track list or cover art
"Louisiana Tech" 1 disc (19 tracks, Soundboard, 69 min.) Rustin, Louisiana 5-1-82 - Very Good sound quality - Track list - No cover art
"Alpine Valley '82" 1 disc (Soundboard, from FM, Approx 70 min.) Alpine Valley Music Theatre, East Troy, WI 7-3-82 (or 10-16-82? or 7-17-82? or 9-8-82?... So many people have a different date listed for this show, I don't know what to believe!) - The sound quality is truly horrible. It must have gone through several generations on cassette before being converted to CD. That's my best guess. It's just go so much noisy, screechy, high-pitched distortion, I got a headache after listening to just a few minutes of it, even at low volume! Such a shame. If you have lower-generation copy of this show (or any of my other shows) that you think sounds better than I've described, please let me know. I'd love to obtain it. - No track list or cover art
"A Checkered Past" 2 discs (Soundboard?) Park West, Chicago, IL 10-13-82, Jackson, New Jersey 8-2-84, and Merriville, Indiana 1-22-95 - Sound quality is Very Good - Track list - No cover art
"Germany '83" 1 disc (Mono soundboard, from TV) "Rockpalast", Essen, Germany 10-15-83 - Sound quality not yet rated - Cover art available upon request
"Russellville '83" 1 disc (18 tracks, Soundboard, 72 min.) Russellville, AR 11-12-83 - Sound quality not yet rated - Cover art available upon request
"Baltimore '84" 2 discs (29 tracks, Audience recording) Tracks 1-20: Baltimore, MD 5-6-84, Tracks 21-29: Acoustic songs performed on some FM radio show (I'm not sure where or when) with the between song dialogue edited out - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"San Francisco '84" 1 disc (19 tracks, Audience recording) Wolfgang's, San Francisco, CA 5-26-84 - Sound quality varies. Throughout more than half of the show the sound quality is indeed very good. Then it suddenly becomes horrible for about half a song. Then it becomes 'fair' and stays that way through the end of the CD. This show also has no proper track markings. It is broken up into 3 CD tracks. On the positive side, there are some songs that are not heard live very often, such as "Up The Creek", "I Want Be Man", "Everybody Must Get Stoned" and "My Baby Loves To Rock" - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Jackson, New Jersey 8-2-84" (See "A Checkered Past" above")
"USO Tour, Hawaii - 1984" 1 disc (7 tracks, Recorded from FM, Approx 35 min.) 1st Division Rock N Roll Airbourne, Honolulu, HI 6-4-84 - Features members of Kansas, Pablo Cruz, & more - Sound quality is GREAT! - Cover art available upon request
"The Alternate Standing On The Edge" 1 disc (Soundboard) Standing On The Edge demos, alternate mixes, and tracks that apparently didn't make the final cut. Very interesting! 1985 - Sound quality is very good, but not super. It's probably seen a number of generations on cassette before someone transferred it to CD - Track list - No cover art
"Hoffman Estates '85" 1 disc (11 tracks, from FM) Poplar Creek Music Theatre, Hoffman Estates, IL 7-14-85 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"St. Paul '85" 1 disc (Soundboard, 66 min.) St. Paul, Minnesota 7-16-85 - Sound is VERY GOOD - Very crisp and clear, but it could use more bass - Track list - No cover art
"Six Flags '85" 1 disc (14 tracks, Audience recording) Six Flags Amusement Park, Busch Gardens, Hollywood, CA 8-23-85 - Sound quality is good, but the editing is sloppy and there's lots of audible audience talking - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"The Doctor Demos" 1 disc - Includes several songs that did not make the final cut! - Poor to Fair sound quality. Probably several generations away from the original. If you have a lower generation copy of this one I'd love to get it from you! - No cover art at this time
"Edinburgh '86" 1 disc (14 tracks) The Playhouse, Edinburgh, Scotland 2-8-86 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - Cover art available upon request
"Chicago '86" 1 disc (17 tracks, Audience recording) Park West, Chicago, IL 11-6-86 - Sound quality is fairly good, but not perfect. A little muffled, and the sound breaks up at some brief parts - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"The Doctor Makes a Housecall" 1 disc (16 tracks, Audience recording) Harpo's, Detroit, MI 11-14-86 - Sound quality is merely 'fair'. Listenable, but just barely. Lots of noise, distortion and hiss - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Valley Fair; Set One" (Also called "Unplugged") 1 disc (15 tracks, Audience recording) Valley Fair, Shakopee, MN 8-21-86 - Very Good sound quality for an audience recording, but a bit too much treble - Track list - Cover art available upon request
"Hartford '86" 1 disc (18 tracks, Audience recording, 77 min.) Hartford, WI 11-8-86 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"The Hollywood Palace '86" 1 disc (15 tracks, Audience recording) The Palace, Hollywood, CA 12-22-86 - First track cuts in. Various members of RATT and Motley Crue help out on "He's a Whore", "Highway to Hell" and "Bite It" (Vince Neil, Robin Crosby, Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx, Steven Pearcy, Greg Giuffria) - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"First Avenue '87" 1 disc (17 tracks, Audience recording, 74 min.) First Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 3-2-87 - Sound quality is EXCELLENT for an audience recording! I was truly surprised that it was an audience recording! - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Summerfest '87" 1 disc (17 tracks, Originally recorded from FM) Milwaukee, WI 7-1-87 - Much to my disappointment (on account of the fact that this my favorite era for Cheap Trick) the sound quality is very poor. It is tinny and distorted, but the worst thing is there's a pumping waviness throughout the whole CD. It must have been transferred from a very old and well-used cassette tape, which probably also went through several generations to begin with. If you want to complete your collection then maybe you want this, but if you're looking for something you'll enjoy listening to, pick something else! - Track list - No cover art
"Chippewa '87" 1 disc (15 tracks, 70 min.) State Fair, Chippewa, WI 7-29-87 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Aurora '87" 1 disc (15 tracks, Audience recording, 80 min.) Aurora, IL 9-6-87 - Sound quality is good, but pretty tinny. Needs more bass. - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Springfield '87" 1 disc (14 tracks, Audience recording) Springfield, MO 9-10-87 (Second set) - Sound quality is fair, but there's a great deal of high-level ear-piercing noise and distortion which makes it intolerable for me - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Bachannal" 1 disc (16 tracks, Audience recording) San Diego, CA 12-28-87 - Sound quality is between 'very good' and 'great' - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Tom's First Show" 1 disc (17 tracks, Audience recording, 59 min.) Santa Clara, CA 1-1-88 - Tom's first show with the band - Sound quality is poor, unfortunately - No track list or cover art
"MTV Spring Break" 1 disc (14 tracks, Soundboard, from TV) Daytona Beach, FL 3-25-88 - Recorded from MTV broadcast - Sound quality is GREAT - Track list - No cover art
"Laverton '88" 2 discs (16 tracks) Laverton, Australia 4-21-88 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Live in Australia '88" 1 disc (14 tracks, Soundboard, 63 min.) City, venue, and date unknown. This may or may not be the same show as "Laverton '88". I have not compared them side by side - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Tulsa Tricks" (Also called "Just Got Back") 1 disc (15 tracks, Soundboard, 73 min.) Tulsa, OK 5-26-88 - This disc is AWESOME!! Great performance! Lots of Trick songs you don't hear live too often! Very low audience noise. The sound quality is simply superb, except for a few spots where the volume fluctuates (I have no idea why it does this), but this is no big deal. Overall, this is one of my favorite live Cheap Trick boots! - Cover art available upon request
"Fort Worth '88" 1 disc (16 tracks, Soundboard, from FM) Fort Worth, TX 5-27-88 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art

"St. Cloud '88" 1 disc (15 tracks, Audience recording) Hallenbeck Hall, St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, MN 11-4-88 - Sound quality is somewhere between 'very good' and 'great'. Could use a little more low-end tones in my opinion - Low quality cover art available upon request
"Boston '89" 2 discs (16 tracks, Audience recording) Orpheum Theater, Boston, MA 2-2-89 (With guests Steven Tyler & Joe Perry of Aerosmith) Sound quality is between 'poor' and 'fair'. The signal is rather low, and there's a lot of tape hiss, and some distortion - No track list or cover art

"Unplugged" 1 disc (10 tracks, Soundboard from Holland FM radio show) Countdown Cage, Amsterdam, Holland 10-12-90, plus bonus tracks & radio interview - This is not the same as "Sitting on Stools", although that disc is also sometimes called "Unplugged" - GREAT CD!! - Sound quality is excellent - Track list - Cover art available upon request
"Santa Clara '90" 1 disc (16 tracks) Santa Clara, CA 10-28-90 - The last track "Highway to Hell" is a bonus track from Springfield, MA 3-9-91 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"OshKosh '90" 1 disc (17 tracks, Audience recording, 75 min.) Sunnyview Expo Center, Oshkosh, WI 11-4-90 - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Rockline 1990" 1 disc (Recorded from FM) Rick Neilsen, Robin Zander, and Tom Petersson promoting the album "Busted" on the FM radio show "Rockline Live" on the Radio Satellite Network with host Bob Coburn 11-5-90. Includes Q-n-A with callers, interview segments, a few album tracks, and a few in-studio live songs performed acoustically ("Wherever Would I Be", and a short piece of "Heaven Tonight": Robin forgets the words... Ooops!) - Sound quality is great, but the track markings are randomly and illogically placed, and have split-second gaps - No track list or cover art
"Chile '90" 1 disc (16 tracks) The first 8 tracks are from Chile, South America 1990 (date unknown). The rest are MP3-sourced bonus tracks incuding a demo of "Taxman, Mr. Thief", "The Last Time" with Aerosmith, and more - Sound quality not yet rated - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"The Sting" 2 discs (17 tracks, Audience recording, 88 min.) Bristol, CT 4-13-91 - Sound quality is very good, but there's one skip in track 2, and there are split-second TAO gaps between tracks - Track list available upon request - No cover art
"Del Mar '91" 1 disc (18 tracks) Del Mar Fairgrounds, Del Mar, CA 6-24-91 - The sound quality is GREAT! I think it's an audience recording (Because of a little clapping you hear between tracks), but if so, it's one of the better audience recordings I've heard. Unfortunately the last track has a digital glitch which causes a stutter for about 8 seconds straight (Basically, during the chant near the end of 'Surrender', you hear "We're all-all-all-all-all-all-all-all-all-all-all-all-right-right-right") If someone has a copy of this disc without this glitch, let me know - Track list available upon request - No cover art

"Bun E. Carlos Air Farce Demos '72-'76" 1 disc - Apparently inappropriately titled. First of all, this CD does not seem contain any 'demos', in the sense that we usually use the term. It seems to be just one long instrumental recording of some kind of "let's just goof-off" type of casual jam session. Second of all, the inclusion of the date range '72-'76 clearly implies that this is a collection of recordings made over those four years, when in fact it is obviously a single recording session, like I said. According to the book "Reputation Is A Fragile Thing", "Bun E. Carlos Air Farce" was the name of a short-lived pre-Cheap Trick band that Robin Zander and Bun E were in, sometime around October/November 1971. If this recording is from that band, then it must have been made in 1971. - Rough track list - Very Good sound quality - No cover art

"Music for Gurms" 1 disc (Soundboard) This is a CD that was given out to everyone who attended Trickfest 3. It's alternating songs and interview segments .. the interview seems to have been just prior to the U.S. release of "Live at Budokan" - I'm not sure why the title uses the word "Gurms", which is apparently a misspelling of the word "Germs", but it looks like it must be intentional, since everyone lists the CD this way. - Sound quality is great - No track list, front cover art only - Cover art available upon request

"In Color - Albini Version" 1 disc (15 tracks, Studio) Unreleased and unfinished Albini Version 2002 - On the "Rockline 2003" show, someone called in and asked the band for the history behind this disc, and Bun E. Carlos gave the explanation. The "In Color" album was produced by Tom Werman, but the band always felt that Werman screwed up the album. "He made it safe for radio, but the album sounds like it was done in a cardboard box". So about 5 years ago they were in the studio hanging around with the producer Steve Albini, and had nothing to do for a few days, so they said "Yeah, that would be fun to redo that". So they started re-recording the songs. They have not finished it yet, haven't gotten all the harmonies or instruments on it yet, but someday they might finish it and piggyback release it as a bonus disc with something else. There was some extra room on the CD, so at the beginning I have put that sound clip of Bun E. giving that explanation. - Sound quality is excellent - Incomplete track list available upon request - No cover art

"Cheap Trick Tokyo '92" 1 DVDR - First is Shihuya Kokaido, Tokyo, Japan 5-9-92 from a Japanese TV special, which is 16 songs plus misc segments. After this is VH1 "The Experience" Seattle, WA 8-29-03, which is 4 songs. This is a very cool semi-professional homemade DVD with excellent menu screen and song select screen, but unfortunately mine seems to be an imperfect copy. It skips a lot. - No cover art
"ChicagoFest '81" 1 DVDR - Live at ChicagoFest, Navy Pier, Chicago, IL 8-5-81 - Pete Comita on bass guitar - This is a pro-shot, recorded from TV - Quality is GREAT! - No cover art
